Tragic death of Angels rookie

After pitching six scoreless innings on Wednesday night against the A’s, 22-year-old Nick Adenhart and two other people were killed after a minivan ran a red light and struck their Mitsubishi. The incident occurred just before  12:30 this morning, and two other people were killed, with a fourth person remaining hospitalized. Adenhart was the Angel’s 3rd starting pitcher, with a record of 37-28 in his minor league career from 2005-2008. My prayers go out to his parents and family members.
